My Ideal Day

Jaxie and I going for one of our daily adventures.

YAAAAAAAAAWWWWWN! I my eyes begin to open while I stretch my arms and legs away from one another! Jaxie is already staring at me with his nub (tail – he’s a boxer) wagging back and forth. He’s already excited because he knows that he is about to go out for his morning walk.

I take Jax out, feed him and then I grab a glass of water and sit down at the computer. This is one of my favourite parts of the day. This is when I set the intention to acquire inspiration, not just inspiration for me, but inspiration that means something to me and that I can share with the world. I check Facebook, Twitter and my email. Whatever seems to speak to me at that moment, I share out with my network with the intention that it will reach whoever needs to see it.

I take a warm, unrushed shower which usually generates a couple ideas for blog posts or business ideas. I write the ideas down as soon as I get out of the shower. I make myself a smoothie, grab my gym shoes and head out to the gym.

I spend about 90 minutes at the gym working as hard as I can. I listen to a playlist that really pumps me up but during my cool down period (10 minutes of biking or walking), I listen to my favourite podcast.

I head home to grab lunch which is a wrap of some sort. I sit down at the computer and begin to write the latest blog post. It’s something that just pours out from somewhere inside me. My intention is that it reaches whoever needs to see it.

I walk over and grab Jaxie’s leash and we go on our daily adventure. We go and explore the beautiful river valley for 60-90 minutes, taking breaks along the way to just simply enjoy the sights and sounds. The lush green of the trees and grass, the sound of the river water trickling through the rocks – it’s all so wonderful and relaxing.

We get home and Jaxie collapses in the living room, panting with satisfaction.

I sit down at the computer, check email and respond to any urgent emails. I engage with my community on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram talking about what’s happening, what’s upcoming and just being me!

It’s late afternoon now. I begin to think more strategic and what I need to work on to have things prepared for what’s upcoming. Make phone calls, work on product development or perform research.

I eat dinner at about 6:00pm and I watch a movie on Netflix.

If I don’t go meet a friend for coffee or go to my family’s house for supper, I watch videos or read blog posts on subjects that I am trying to learn more about.

The sun is setting, I take a moment to take in the smells, admire the color as it stretches across the sky and let myself wind down.

What does your ideal day look like?
