I think the moment that began the climb out of the depths that I had dug myself in to, was when I asked for help… even when I had no idea what I had actually asked for. A broken heart is never an easy recovery because we love to pretend that no one else understands, that no one has experienced what we are going through so we draw away from everyone when all we want, is for someone to come close and tell us it will be ok. Well, guess what? We are the ones holding us from what we want most.
